Life in november

So jax is huge and now loves to jump on the counter, the stinker!! But today we put his treats in the cupboard above the washer, so when we got home we found out he can now jump up there. Luckily he can't open cupboards, when he figures that out we are in trouble because his food and treats are all in one. He does have a new fondness for DVD cases and boxes. One day he won't eat everything.
Matt has finals in two weeks, crazy!! I am excited that he has found what he wants to go into. Plus he will be one good lookin construction worker, ow ow!!
I cooked my first turkey today and matt said it turned out really good. Thank heavens he is brave enough to eat my cooking. I am way excited for thanksgiving this week though. I am planning on eating a whole pie by myself! So happy thanksgiving everyone!

At HoMe

I love being home! It's the best! I have a job now and love work! The only bad thing is that jax is now huge! He stole matt's peanut butter and jelly sandwich off the counter and he also stole a whole cube of butter! I am so mad, but so impressed at the same time!
Matt is doing great at school and is well on his way. I love that I get to see him more often! Life is good and everything is great!

HoMe AgAiN, hOmE aGaIn JiGgTy Jig...

One week until we are home!! I am way excited and ready to go! I am going to get my CNA as soon as I can once I am back. Matt is headed to school, he is going into construction management.
It will be weird to be home, it will be a lot cooler then here. I can also sit on the grass and not worry about chiggers. My birthday is this wednsday, I AM going to be 21!
Matt has been doing really well these past couple of weeks, he really finished strong. I am way proud of him, he did way good. Texas was a good experience, but I am built for cold weather. Jackets, Jeans, and Long Sleeves sound amazing, as well as sweats! Who can deny the call of sweats!?
Jax is getting really bored in this apartment, he has already ate two pairs of my shoes and is trying to eat another. His favorite food right now is the bird-sized grasshoppers here. As gross as it is I love to watch him chase after them and snapping. He has also learned how to hang his head out the window. He hasn't quite got the fact that it is air rushing past him. He tries to bite it. He still hates the car though, but he is growing like a weed so he will be ready for it when we go home. We will see you all soon!!

Birthdays on the Road

We are in San Angelo, TX! Jax is tearing this apartment apart. He first started by eating a sea green blanket, followed by a sheet, he has also peed on the comforter and his new favorite seat is on the computer desk. He also gets so bored he does laps around the apartment. I am kinda going crazy here! Matt is doing really well here and his birthday was on the fourth. I am sorry to say it was kind of a sucky birthday! We had to drive from Gatesville to here, he had to work, and we have no kitchen so I couldn't make him a cake. Which really bummed me out, because I wanted to make him a really good one. Mine is coming up next though on the twenty-fifth and I will be twenty-one, I think if we are home Matt and I will combine birthday celebrations.
Speakng of cake, i am really craving it and I think I am going to go buy one. Shout out to my mom "Happy Birthday!" in a little bit.

Sundayz

I have officially decided that Sunday is truly the best day of the week. We go to church, we hang by the pool, Matt does the dishes, and we cook delicious stuff. How could you go wrong? The sad news of the week is tomorrow is kelsey's last day here! So we are going to do some major fun stuff tomorrow.
I just realized that we are going to be home in twenty days! It's crazy! I am ready to have a job once again though and get going on with life. All the wives here are starting to head back, pretty soon I will be the only one.
We had hamburger helper yesterday for dinner and it so reminded me of my dad making it for us for lunch. I miss my family way bad. And Loni if you are reading this you better send me a picture of your baby as soon as you have had it. I MEAN IT!!

Joys of Puppy

Dadadadaaaaa cleaning day is here!! Me and the beast(aka kelsey) are cleaning the house today, because it is starting to reek of dog. Plus it didn't help that jax found a large piece of foam from his torn up mat and managed to rip it up into snowflake pieces infront of the fan. Our room looks like a snow storm hit it. Where was I during all of this, I was frying an egg for our dog because he won't eat his food just plain. Oh having puppies is wonderful.
Also Jax has taken a fond liking to kelseys bottom, he enjoys nibbling and taking naps on it. Kelsey tries to run away, but it just makes jax more excited and I think he thinks its a game. He once caught the bottom of her shorts while she was running and wouldn't let go, so he just ended up flapping behind her until she noticed.
Matt gets home tonight early YEAAA! The town he is in only allows them to knock until seven instead of nine. So I am excited to have him home. Life is great.

Naughtiness

Today me and kels decided to have a cooking day!! So we made brownies and lemon bars, YuMmY! Matt is gone for tonight, but will be back tomorrow. Lately Jax has been a little naughty, his worst crime: He pooped in Matt's church shoe. I seriously have no idea how he could have done it so perfectly, I must say it was impressive. Another story of his crimes is that he ripped up his sleeping pad for his kennel. So last night I stuffed his kennel full of blankets, it didn't help. He was up ALLLL night whining, because he couldn't sleep.
Kelsey leaves this tuesday, which makes me really sad. I swear time has flown by so fast, which means we will be home soon! WooHoo!

Lately...

Since kelsey has got here we have been trying out new beauty tools. She has clip in hair extensions which are so fun! Except in my hair they look way fake, but in hers the look great! We also tried fake eyelashes out. I have never worn these before, so the first time I glued them on my eyes I put them on the wrong sides, so they we way thick and long on the inside. It looked horrible, but kels fixed them. I guess beauty things just aren't my thing.
Matt and I got to go out to dinner last night. One of the people we went with had a margarita, have you ever noticed they make those things look sooo good.
My chest area is freaking fried, I think some important things may fall off. I seriously have never been this burnt before. Kelsey says if they don't fall off they will peel off.
Matt is in Merkel today its twenty minutes away, which means I get to see him more this week. WOOHOO!! anyways, we love you all and miss you guys.

Cailsey

(The title is Caitlin and kelsey combined into one)Kelsey is HeRe!!! WoOhOo! We picked her up at the Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, which is GInormous it was like a city by itself. Anyways Jax and I hunted her down and when she picked jax up he "Sharted" on her. I have never laughed so hard as that moment. It was so blasted hot in that airport I was dripping in five minutes and Kels hates the heat, she has already decided to live indoors. Matt did great last week in Vernon and will be leaving again next week, but I have kels now so it won't be so bad. I just got a picture book from Manda, which is so dang cute, it made me realize how much I really miss my families. So a guess a shout out is in order to both my families "We love you and miss you all!!"

Missing Matt

This week Matt is in Vernon, so they are spending the week in a motel over there. Jax and I have been partying it up like crazy though! Just kidding this whole week there has been a major down pour of rain everyday, so pretty much we stay inside and eat food. Before Matt would usually get home at about ten every night, so at that time of night Jax will get up and go sit by the door and wait for Matt. It's way cute, but I have to go get him eventually so we can go to bed. Luckily Matt will be home Sunday morning.
This week I have been trying to get Jax used to the idea of him being in a kennel, while I go out. HE HATES IT! At first I could get him in it by putting treats in there and then closing the door on him. He smartened up real fast and now won't even go near it during the day. So I am going to sneak attack him and close him in the bathroom now, hopefully it works.

On the Road Again

So we just found out we will be moving to Louisianna for the rest of the summer soon. I am actually way excited about it!! Also more good news kelsey is going to be here all this week! Jax currently is extending his personal vendetta against are neighbor. It all started on Monday of this week when our neighbor was teasing him with food, now every day since Jax has peed on his door. So learn from this, never tease our dog or you will have to deal with the consquences! Jax also is currently obsessed with eating rocks, which is almost eliminating his BMs. I try to stop him but he sneakily eats them when I am not looking. Matt is in Clyde today and will be in Vernon next week, the names remind me of two white-trash uncles somone might have.

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!

Pumped about Eclipse

Eclipse is out!! We are heading to a matinee of it and today will also be the marking of Jax's first day home alone. Hopefully it goes okay, I fully expect to clean up messes. Matt is now in Graham, Texas which means he comes home really late. Jax is starting to chew on everything and also hump everything, lovely isn't it. Anyways still love him, even if he causes some akward moments for me. Kelsey is coming next week and I am so pumped! Super Pumped!!

Lovin the Livin

I have never done this before so sorry if it is boring. Currently living in Texas is great Matt and I are loving it. I mostly stay inside to escape the heat and it's only getting hotter. The new addition into our small but awesome family is Jax, a 9 wk. old weim puppy. My days are filled with running up and down two flights of stairs for potty breaks. He keeps me busy though, by the time Matt gets home I am totally wiped out. I sersiously don't know how I am going to handle kids when the time comes, so 'snaps' to all the mom's out there.
